Cabichon is a 27-year-old donkey we rescued a few months ago. Due to a serious illness, his owner could no longer take care of him. When we took him in, he was skinny and very weak...

2. One of his feet is infected and prevents him from walking normally!

When he arrived some time ago, Cabichon had an infected foot. The veterinarian regularly gives him shots to treat and relieve him, because Cabichon struggles a lot to walk.

3. We don't have any more pellets to make him put on weight and help him regain his strength

Cabichon not only needs pellets to regain strength, but also to regain weight and muscle.

This is the only way he can heal from his infection. Without it, we fear that his health will be heavily impacted!

4. We are overwhelmed!

With nearly 350 donkeys to feed every day, we are completely overwhelmed: there is still not enough grass in the meadows and we can't find any pellets in store because of the lockdown. Only hay remains, but our sickest equids can't live on it (some of them can't even eat it!).
