Very sick, Lena lost her kittens at birth!

1. She was abandoned when she was sick and pregnant!

Lena was abandoned by her owners, while she was sick and waiting for the little ones. The poor girl suffered from a big coryza which took all her strength... Her eyes were watery, her nose was blocked and she was very skinny despite the gestation.

2. She lost her babies at birth...

When we took Lena in, we immediately took her to the vet. She was then able to give birth, but the little ones, too sick, could not be saved... Lena had to be hospitalized for 15 days. Despite all this, she is still very skinny and must take medication.

3. With food pouches, we could give her the treatment she needs more effectively.

Wet and liquid, the food in pouches would allow us to put Lena's antibiotic tablets in her bowl. As she regains her strength, she would multiply her chances of recovery.

4. The situation is a real headache!

This time of year, we usually organize food collections in the big supermarkets to feed our free cats. This was unfortunately impossible this year, because of the complicated sanitary context we are going through. With our small budget, everything is now even more complicated...
