Because of a chronic disease, Prince has very bad gums and can no longer eat...

1. He spent 5 years on the street!

Prince has spent 5 years of his life on the streets, with no one to take care of him. Yet, he was tattooed! But his former owner didn't want him anymore...

Fortunately, we found him a month ago and he's currently in a foster family.

2. He has cat AIDS

Prince has tested positive for FIV, the cat AIDS: his immune defenses are not as strong as other cats' which makes him very vulnerable to viruses and diseases...

3. His gums are very inflamed.

Prince suffers from a big gingivitis: permanently inflamed, his gums put him through a lot of pain. Because of this and as he can no longer chew, it is impossible for him to eat kibbles!

We're giving him a treatment, hoping to ease his pain a little.

4. The food pouches would allow him to continue to eat without suffering too much.

Easy to ingest, pouched food would be just right for Prince: he could eat it without chewing. His gums would be preserved. We could also take advantage of it to give him his medication more easily.

5. Our finances are at an all-time low...

The quarantine accentuated the phenomenon of abandonment: we had to collect several new cats. We have to manage this new situation while our liquid assets are very low. In addition, many sick cats need their treatment, but we don't have enough funds to buy everything!
