1. Blind, Karina came close to being euthanized!

Karina is a 24-year-old blind mare, very dependent because of her disability, her family could no longer afford the costs of her maintenance. So it was either euthanasia, or placement in our association, fortunately it was the second solution that was chosen!

2. She is very fragile, she still feels lost.

Karina has been here for 1 month, and for the moment she still feels lost. We are looking for a gentle enough companion to help her regain her self-confidence, he will have to assist her in her travels. We have tested different horses, without success for the moment, but we hope to find one soon...

3. Because of her handicap, Karina needs pellets to keep her strength up.

Blind and without a companion, Karina can't move around much for fear of falling, so she can't graze. We need to supplement her with pellets, even more so in view of her advanced age and disability!

4. The pastures of our association were ravaged by the heat wave!

Because of the heatwave that has hit France, there is no grass left in the pastures, everything is dried out, there is only soil left. We replace the grass by hay to compensate, but this is not enough for the most fragile animals. We need help!
