Filou came close to being euthanized in Italy!

1. Filou was destined to a slaughterhouse in Italy!

Bred for meat, Filou was destined to the slaughterhouse in Italy. Our association just managed to buy him back in the last moment to avoid this terrible fate!

2. Because of his castration and his arrival, he lost weight.

On his arrival, Filou had to be castrated to prevent him from impregnating the mares at the refuge. The castration was difficult, he had some bleeding and made an oedema, in addition to his change of environment which destabilizes him. Because of all this he has lost a hundred pounds.

3. Pellets would help him regain his strength

With pellets, Filou would get the nutrients and vitamins he needs to regain the strength he lost after his arrival.

4. The pastures of our association have been ravaged by the heat wave!

Because of the heatwave that hit France, there is no more grass in the pastures, everything is dried out, there is only soil left. We replace the grass by hay to compensate, but this is not enough for the most fragile animals. We need help!
