1. Ernest had to go to the slaughterhouse in Italy!

Bred for meat, Ernest was destined for the slaughterhouse in Italy. Our association has just managed to buy him back at the last moment to avoid this terrible end!

2. Because of his castration and arrival, he lost weight.

On his arrival, Ernest had to be castrated to prevent him from impregnating the mares at the refuge. The castration was difficult, he made a hemorrhage and made an oedema, in addition to his change of environment which destabilizes him while he adapts. Because of all this he has lost a hundred kilos.

3. Pellets would help him to regain his strength.

With pellets, Ernest would benefit from the nutrients and vitamins necessary to regain the strength he lost upon his arrival.

4. The pastures of our association were ravaged by the heat wave!

Because of the heatwave that has hit France, there is no more grass in the pastures, everything is dried out, there is only soil left. We replace the grass by hay to compensate, but this is not enough for the most fragile animals. We need help!
