Participate in confidence

Animal Webaction visited the site 26 August 2020 and confirms the situation described below.

Animal Webaction cannot be held responsible for dog deaths due to the absence of kibble. Why ?

1. In Morocco, Hanane has almost no kibble left to feed street dogs. They will starve if no one intervenes!

%%%

"I keep finding more and more abandoned dogs, but I can no longer manage on my own without donations. I can no longer afford to feed and gather new dogs. I feel sad for these animals. People no longer come to adopt and no longer offer donations. My shelter is now full, I can no longer accept new animals.

The restaurants where I used to take the leftovers to feed the dogs have all shut down. There are no more donations because everyone is in crisis and some have lost their jobs. Because of the lack of food, stray dogs can get serious illnesses and infections.

The pandemic is having a big impact on the animals' lives and on the shelter as well, I don't know when this nightmare will end because I can't continue to manage on my own".

2. Dumped on the street two months ago, Louka still lives there with her six puppies, and relies on Hanane for food.

###

"This bitch has been abandoned on the street for two months, she has six babies. She is very fearful. She just comes to eat, drink, but it's impossible to catch her. She protects her babies, but they're out on the street."

3. The shelter is saturated, and Hanane will soon have no more kibble for her 175 dogs either.

"I spend all day thinking about what will happen to my shelter and my dogs if this pandemic lasts longer than expected. People no longer come to adopt dogs, my shelter is now full.

My dogs are always fighting with each other, two of my dogs lost their eyesight in a fight and one dog injured her leg, she can no longer walk properly at this hour.

I feel a great sadness for these animals, I can't throw them out on the street, I will try to do my best to help them".

4. Hanane fears for Robio, who is still very thin and weakened, and will not be able to resist food shortage.

###

"Robio, I rescued him from the street about a year ago, he had skin lesions and he was very thin. Unfortunately, his condition can worsen quickly, since he is already weakened and is still very skinny.

I am also afraid that he may get infections or serious illnesses and that he may lose even more weight".

5. Since the pandemic, Hanane can no longer work, donations and adoptions are almost non-existent. She can no longer buy kibbles!

###

"There is a great lack of donations, people don't help anymore, I don't have sponsors. And I don't work anymore to finance my shelter...

I have a large number of dogs in my shelter that I will never be able to help on my own without donations or sponsors.

I can't afford to buy kibble, it's impossible."

6. Hanane isn't asking for money, only kibbles to keep the dogs from starving.

###

"Since the beginning of the pandemic, there has been a lack of cash and food donations, I can no longer afford to buy food for the animals.

I thank you for all the efforts you have made for the animals at the shelter, you have to think of them, because I have less than two weeks of kibble left".

7. f this campaign succeeds, Hanane will not receive any money but 3000 kg of kibbles, delivered from Animal Webaction's logistic platform in Morocco.

Animal Webaction has a logistic platform in Morocco which allows us to intervene quickly and deliver kibbles throughout the country.

8. Hanane no longer knows how to ask for help, and is counting on this campaign.

"Everyone is in crisis because of the pandemic, that's why people don't help me as usual. Yes I have noticed a drop in donations and adoptions too.

I hope that this pandemic will end as soon as possible because my shelter depends on donations and adoptions. Without donations and adoptions, the future of the shelter is unknown. I hope to find new sponsors and associations to help me".

9. If this campaign fails the shelter will not receive any kibble, failures occur regularly.

10. In Morocco, donors are scarce, and there are no foundations or subsidies . It is very difficult to find funding for kibbles, many dogs remain starving in the street!
