1. Her kittens did not survive...

Douce carried and then gave birth to kittens outside, because she lives outside. Unfortunately, they died, leaving her alone.

2. She is very skinny !

Since she got calicivirus, Douce is very skinny. She has lost weight because she could no longer eat due to ulcers in her mouth .

3. With blankets, she would be warm

Thanks to blankets, Douce would no longer have to sleep on the damp, cold ground at night.
