When his owners separated, they didn't want to keep Hekins... and simply abandoned him on a beach!
The poor man found himself in an environment he didn't know, with no one to look after him... When we found him, we contacted his owners (Hekins was identified) who never wanted to take him back with them!
Hekins probably has a problem with his mouth because he drools all the time. His teeth are certainly very damaged, because he has difficulty chewing the kibbles that we give him!
Since we took Hekins in, we've put him in a secure outdoor paddock. But blankets would be very useful to keep him warm at night!
With winter approaching, the cats and kittens we take care of will need us more than ever. Help would be welcome in providing them with food and blankets!
