1. A disease was making him sick!

Yanga is a hunting dog that has been abandoned, and has wandered all his life in the Garrigue. When we found him, he was skeletal and suffered from leishmaniasis: his legs were deformed and he could not longer walk because of his swollen pads.

2. He has problems with his pancreas...

Unfortunately, Yanga is suffering from chronic pancreatitis, which gives him permanent diarrhoea.

Poor Yanga can't digest kibbles and vomits them. Every week we have to give him a vitamin injection to support his digestive system...

3. Canned food would help him to regain strength

Canned food would allow Yanga to gain weight and energy. Healthy canned food might even benefit Yanga's digestive system...

4. We're stuck in a bad place!

We only take in sick and/or abused old dogs that need care and lots of love.

But we can no longer get food from the collections, and we have almost no more donations. Our stocks are dry... We have to be quick, a hundred dogs are counting on us!
