1. Being blind while living outside is a very big handicap for her...

Sophie is a 15-year-old cat who lives outside. Unfortunately, she is too wild and fearful to be placed for adoption.

Poor Sophie is blind, which is a serious handicap in finding food in the street. At her age, she can't hunt as well as she used to, and her other senses are less sharp...

2. Canned food would help her gain strength despite her disability

Strongly scented canned food would allow Sophie to regain her strength, despite her visual blindness. She would only have to smell it to find them (we would place the cans near where she usually is) and eat!

3. The costs are piling up on all sides!

We manage a lot of sick and unadoptable cats. They often have to be given treatment and we face important veterinary bills... Not to mention the costs of feeding 350 stray cats spread across different sites! Help with the canned food would be invaluable!
