Suffering from kidney failure, Miquette urgently needed medical care!

1. She has kidney failure and no energy left...

Miquette is a 17-year-old cat that we found outside in very bad shape. We took her to the vet, and it turns out that she has kidney failure.

Her kidneys no longer perform their primary function of eliminating toxins effectively. As a result, she is very tired and losing weight. To limit her troubles, the vet prescribed a treatment for her. We also decided to place her in a warm place in our cattery.

2. Canned food would help her take her medication

Canned food would make it easier for Miquette to take her kidney medication. Filling up on protein would also be a good opportunity for her to regain her strength, and limit her weight loss.

3. The costs are piling up on all sides!

We manage a lot of sick and unadoptable cats. They often have to be given treatment and we face important veterinary bills... Not to mention the costs of feeding 350 stray cats spread across different sites! Help with the canned food would be invaluable!
