1. A disease is making him vulnerable to viruses and infections...

Tom has unfortunately tested positive for feline AIDS. Impacted by the disease, his immune defences are less and less efficient to protect him against viruses and cold spells...

2. A virus is causing him a lot of pain in his mouth, which prevents him from eating...

As a result, Snow is suffering from the calicivirus: this virus is causing him an inflammation of the gums, which makes him drool.

He also has a very painful mouth, which makes it particularly difficult (or even impossible!) to chew his food. Without an alternative to kibble, Snow is at risk of starving to death...

3. Canned food would help him regain energy

With canned food, Tom would be able to eat again without having to chew. Day by day, he would finally get his strength back, without too much difficulty!

4. We are at the end of our rope!

We don't have enough resources to feed the sixty cats in foster care and the thirty stray cats... These are difficult times for associations and we won't last much longer like this!
