Éclair spent his life in chains and was on his way to the slaughterhouse!

1. His owners wanted to get rid of him!

Éclair is a stallion who has spent his whole life in chains. His owners didn't want him anymore and were trying to get rid of him, even if it meant sending him to the slaughterhouse!

2. He has lung problems...

Éclair suffers from lung problems: as soon as there is a bit of dust, he coughs and has trouble breathing. We never put him in a stall, otherwise he runs out of air.

3. Pellets would help preserve his health until spring comes out

When temperatures are low and the atmosphere is humid, as in winter, equids need to be supplemented with pellets. Providing Éclair with such food would help him regain some weight!

4. Expenses are accumulating...

Our association is committed to rescuing animals of all kinds who are at risk of being abandoned. Times have been tough this winter: our animals need food supplementation and we can't afford to buy pellets!
