1. A disease takes away his appetite and makes him lose weight...

Petit Maître is a cat of about 2 years old who suffers from chronic coryza: his eyes are purulent, he coughs, his nose is full of mucus and he spends his time sneezing.

As his nose is blocked, his sense of smell is reduced and so is his appetite... He eats less, hence is very skinny and weighs only 2.3 kg!

2. Canned food would help him regain appetite and gain weight

Canned food is more appetizing and odorous than kibble, therefore it would certainly awaken Petit Maître's interest in food. He could then start eating again in sufficient quantity and regain some weight.

3. Our hope of collecting donations in shops went out the window!

We were about to undertake a collection in a store, but in view of the recent government announcements, this will have to be cancelled...

With kitten season starting, we will have to choose between buying them food or continuing to feed stray cats... We were really dreading this situation, but it is about to happen!
