1. The vet had to remove all her teeth...

Titite is a five-year-old cat, who suffered in the past from calicivirus. To reduce the inflammation and pain in her mouth, the only solution was to have all her teeth removed.

2. Because she can no longer chew, she has lost a lot of weight!

Since then, Titite is much better, but since she can't chew kibble anymore, she has lost a lot of weight! The poor thing only weighs 2,5 kg...

3. Canned food would help her to gain weight

Easier to ingest than kibble and very rich in proteins, canned food would allow Titite to gain weight quickly. She wouldn't need to chew to feed herself anymore!

4. Our hope of collecting donations in shops has gone out the window!

We were about to undertake a collection in a shop, but in view of the recent government announcements, this will have to be cancelled...

With kitten season starting, we're going to have to choose between buying them food or continuing to feed the stray cats... We were really dreading this situation, but it's about to happen!
