Because of a disease that affects her spinal cord, Sarah falls very frequently!

1. Her spinal cord is compressed...

Sarah is a 21-year-old mare with Wobbler's syndrome: her spinal cord is compressed, causing her to be off balance and out of sync when she walks.

2. She falls a lot!

Because of this disease, Sarah falls very frequently. We have to make sure that there is always something to cushion her if she falls!

3. With pellets she could keep enough muscle mass to avoid injuries as much as possible

If Sarah was to start losing weight, it would be a disaster: she would be even more likely to get hurt if she fell! With daily pellets we could at least help her to maintain a proper muscle mass.

4. We have lost some of our stock!

At the beginning of this year, we welcomed many new horses. Unfortunately, due to bad weather, part of our stock was destroyed...

To replace the lost food, we will have to find funds... which has become particularly difficult since the pandemic!
