Because of mistreatment, poor Pripet had to have a leg amputated!

1. He was mistreated!

Pripet the cat lived outside after being abandoned. From time to time he had access to the hall of a building, where someone gave him food.

But one day (a month ago), he came across a malevolent person who stuck his front paw in a door! Seeing Pripet limping, other people alerted us...

2. Sadly he had to be amputated!

Once on the spot, we found Pripet in distress, injured, next to a pool of blood! His leg was so damaged that the vet had to amputate it...

Since then, Pripet has been living with us. He is learning to live with this new handicap and is finding his marks as best he can.

3. Thanks to canned food he could regain some strength

The daily life with this new handicap is very tiring for Pripet. Canned food would allow him to fill up on energy on a daily basis and to get used to living with three legs only.

4. Adoptions are becoming increasingly rare!

At the moment, it's a complicated time: our hosting capacities are saturated, and people don't want to adopt cats anymore. As we can't do any more solidarity shopping cart campaigns, our budget is also more than limited!
