Tied to a gate in the middle of winter, Moustique was hypothermic...

1. He was mishandled and left to die!

Moustique is one-and-a-half years old, and we found him tied to a gate in the middle of winter, during the frosty period. The poor guy was hypothermic! We immediately put him in blankets with hot water bottles, to try to warm him up!

2. He has growth problems

Probably because of the mistreatment he suffered, Moustique has a big delay in growth. The poor thing must have lacked a lot of food at the beginning of his life, and could not grow normally...

3. He is blind in one eye...

Because of a hemorrhage in his eye, poor Moustique has lost his sight in one eye. This is a handicap for him in his daily life, both while eating and moving around. We are giving him treatment, but we don't know if his sight will return...

4. With canned food, he could eat his fill and get his energy back

Cans of protein-rich food would help Moustique regain his strength. Such a tasty food source would be a real comfort to him after all he's been through!

5. Lockdowns have made everything difficult!

With each lockdown, we are bound hand and foot, it is very complicated. We have 25 cats at home and 23 others in two foster homes, not to mention the many stray cats that we feed... Without the possibility of collecting donations on site, we don't have the necessary budget!
