Skin problems and anemia are wearing Pepsy down, she would really need to regain some strength...

1. She is losing hair in patches !

Pepsy is a 20-year-old mare, who has many health problems. She is currently suffering from a skin disease, the cause of which we don't know (it's being examined): her hair is falling out in patches!

With the cold weather and her skin being bare, she absolutely has to put on a layer of fat, or she won't last!

2. She has anemia...

Pepsy is about to wean her filly. But breastfeeding has caused her anemia, and has weakened her a lot. Her immune system is also much weaker, making her more vulnerable.

3. With pellets, she could regain her strength

To replenish nutrients and vitamins, Pepsy could use some pellets. This would help her regain her weight and strength.

4. Quarantine is making everything difficult!

The grass has just started to grow, but as it freezes at night, there is still not enough in the meadows. We therefore have to buy food to supplement our horses. But all our donation collections in shops have been cancelled because of the pandemic... This means that we have less budget.

Not to mention that our volunteers live far away and can't come to help at the moment, because of the quarantine... I now find myself managing 14 horses by myself, many of which need care. A little help wouldn't go amiss!
