1. He has only one eye...

Réglisse is a stray cat who lives on a feeding site. We don't know why, but the poor guy has only one eye. This is a serious handicap for him outside: It is more difficult for him to see dangers coming and to find food...

2. He suffers from diabetes!

As Réglisse was vomiting, drinking a lot, and had lost weight, we caught him and took him to the vet. There, a blood test confirmed what we feared: Réglisse has diabetes.

As he is too shy for us to give him insulin injections in the morning and evening, we give him tablets.

3. Adapted canned food would allow him to regain his strength and take his medication

To regain strength without risking worsening his condition, Réglisse will need special canned food for diabetes. A moist, easy-to-eat diet would also make it easier for him to take his pills.

4. The abandoned kittens, sick cats, and stray cats are counting on us!

With Covid and the various lockdowns, many sociable, often sick cats have been abandoned. In addition, there are 140 street cats that we feed, as well as about 15 kittens...
