Damaged feet, parasites… Cerise was left in the wild for almost 7 years!

1. She has not been cared for in 7 years!

Cerise the goat used to live on a farm; its owner had died a long time ago. With other goats, she ended up in the wild on an area of 40 hectares.

Without care, her hooves started to get damaged, and parasites invaded her…

2. She may have been poisoned...

Local authorities asked us to take care of Cerise and the other goats. They were indeed beginning to gnaw on the cables of a photovoltaic park and to make serious damage.

We will have to check whether Cerise has been poisoned with lead or mercury on the plot, because the young of these goats are born paralysed and eventually die…

3. Pellets would help her to regain strength

With vitamin-rich pellets, Cerise could once again benefit from a suitable diet without risk to her health. It would be a real relief for her!

4. We are overwhelmed with requests for care!

Not a day goes by without a request for care. The situation is more and more complicated as we fight to feed all our horses. We hope that the regular rains will improve the quality of the hay... But a little help would go a long way!
