1. She was abandoned...

Fleur is a seven-year-old donkey that we took in because her owner did not want to take care of her anymore. This person had received several complaints and for good reason: Fleur was abandoned. She was alone in a meadow, without water, and with nothing but grass for food!

2. She gave birth and is still breastfeeding

Poor Fleur was pregnant when we took her in. Since then, she has given birth to her little one and is breastfeeding, which requires a lot of energy.

3. Pellets would help her to regain her strength

With pellets, Fleur could finally get enough vitamins in her diet. This would be a great help to her in gaining strength to nurse her baby!

4. We don't have enough money to help all our residents!

Between the around twenty dogs, 24 puppies, and the equines we take care of, we don't have enough budget to cover everyone's needs. Especially since the context is particularly difficult!
