Kidney problems, diabetes, missing teeth… Smocky won't regain strength without adapted food!

1. She suffers from kidney problems that make her lose weight...

Smocky is an 11-year-old cat whose kidneys are not working properly anymore. Her body no longer eliminates toxins well enough, which has caused her to lose weight...

2. She has diabetes

In addition to her kidney problems, Smocky has diabetes. We give her daily insulin shots but she is still very thirsty and drinks a lot.

3. Her teeth are almost gone!

Smocky has almost no teeth left (only her fangs). As she can't chew anymore, she vomits kibble whenever she eats some...

4. With blankets, she could sleep very comfortably

Smocky has a safe place to live where she feels comfortable, however we would also like to be able to provide her with blankets so that she doesn't have to sleep on the floor anymore. Blankets would be of great comfort in her old age!

5. The situation is unnerving!

With Covid, we have been facing a sharp drop in donations. Still, the 130 cats who rely on us need care, food and blankets... and we won't be able to help them on our own!
