Kidney problems, stress, hair loss… poor Rocky is really not in good shape.

1. He has a kidney problem…

Rocky is about five years old, we took him in because he was at the pound. Testing revealed elevated urea in Rocky's blood, because his kidneys are not working properly anymore and are not removing enough toxins from his body.

2. Stress is making him pull out his hair!

Perhaps because of difficult living conditions in his past, Rocky is very often stressed. He is so nervous that he pulls out his hair. He now has whole patches of bare skin in some places…

3. Adapted canned food would allow him to eat enough without risk

With the right type of canned food, Rocky would be able to eat without the risk of his health problems getting worse. Perhaps such a diet would also help him to relax a bit.

4. We can't cope with the number of sick cats!

Although this year we have seen fewer kittens than usual so far, the number of sick cats is considerable. Costs of care and rescues are overwhelming and we can't afford to buy special food and blankets for our cats!
