Very long hooves, wool dragging on the ground... poor Bébère was not cared for and was in a pitiful state!

1. His hooves were very long...

Bébère is a two-year-old sheep, who was entrusted to us by his owner. She was distraught, because nobody wanted to come and take care of his feet... and for good reason!

His hooves had been neglected for so long that they had become very long. It took us three months to get them back in shape!

2. His wool was dragging on the ground!

When we took him in, poor Bébère had his wool dragging around. He must not have been shorn for a long time. He could have died of heat in the summer... And when it rained, he had to carry many extra kilos, which could have caused him serious joint problems!

3. Pellets would help him regain his strength

With pellets, Bébère can get his energy back on a daily basis. He'll need them to keep him going now that he's starting to get better!

4. We don't have enough grass or hay!

At the moment, it is difficult to buy hay for our animals, and meadows are scarce. We have about twenty sheep, but half of them are not in meadows! We therefore need to supplement them with pellets...
