Neurological disorders, eating problems and balance loss: Believe is ataxic!

1. She was thrown out of her home after her owner died!

Believe is a 3-year-old cat who was thrown out of her home after her owner died. Poor Believe lost all her habits overnight... When we found her, she was skeletal!

2. Neurological problems handicap her daily !

A visit to the veterinary has revealed that Believe is suffering from ataxia. This neurological disorder is causing her balance issues which prevent her from walking normally.

She also has great difficulty chewing and swallowing. And as she cannot chew enough, she has digestion problems and regularly suffers from severe diarrhea...

3. Blankets would allow her to sleep on something clean

Believe could use a set of blankets while waiting for diarrhea to calm down. It would allow us to make sure she always has a clean, dry place to sleep.

4. The health crisis has put a stop to in-store collections!

We used to organise in-store kibble collections, but the health crisis is now preventing them. We have also been deprived of many donations and we are starting to face significant financial difficulties!
