Merens was kicked by a horse, she will have to spend several months immobilised!

1. Her pelvis was displaced when a horse kicked her!

We rescued Merens after she was kicked by a horse. She did not suffer any bone fracture, but her pelvis was displaced by the blow. She could no longer walk and was dragging her hindquarters…

It will take her several additional months to heal and learn to walk normally again.

2. She has lost weight...

Following the accident, Merens was in so much pain that she stopped eating for several days and lost a lot of weight...

3. Canned food would help her recover

Canned food rich in essential nutrients would help Merens to regain energy. She would then gradually gain weight until she is fully recovered!

4. The number of kittens in need is overwhelming!

We are astonished by the number of rescue requests we've received for kittens! Consequently, we have more and more mouths to feed. Unfortunately, the last collection we made didn't work out so well... we'll have to find the resources elsewhere to move forward!
