Young Portos was abandoned next to a rubbish tip!

1. He was abandoned...

Portos is a four-week-old kitten, who was abandoned along with his brothers and sisters. They were found on the street, near a rubbish dump.

They are traumatised as they have been very scared! We have therefore put them in a safe foster home, where they are bottle-fed daily.

2. Canned food would allow them to continue replenishing their vitamin levels

Portos will soon be in the weaning phase. A wet diet specifically designed for kittens would be ideal to support him during this time.

He could thus easily refill his protein levels, in order to continue his growth in the best possible conditions.

3. The costs are colossal!

Our organisation, based in Dordogne, has been in existence for 32 years and operates in dozens of towns. In 2024 alone, we neutered more than 1,200 street tomcats and found homes for 300 kittens!

Yet, times are tough: due to the crisis, the end of the month is becoming increasingly difficult. Our food stocks are always alarmingly close to zero... Feeding 8,000 stray cats imposes a massive budget!
