Found covered in maggots, little Flocki is battling a persistent bout of cat flu!

1. He was in a critical state when we found him...

Flocki is a three-week-old kitten, who was found alone in the middle of a vast field, without his mum. He still had his umbilical cord, but was covered in fly eggs and maggots... His hours were numbered!

We had to take him in urgently and shave him completely. The maggots were lodged everywhere on his tiny body... For the past 15 days that we've been caring for him, he's been battling persistent cat flu and an eye that is struggling to heal.

2. Canned food would help him gain strength to grow

Currently fed on kitten milk, Flocki will soon need to be weaned. Canned food for kittens would enable a smooth transition to solid food.

Rich in essential nutrients, it would aid him in gaining weight normally and strengthening his weakened body, beleaguered by his difficult start in life. It would also be a good way for him to take his medications against the stubborn cat flu, especially for his eye.

3. We're overwhelmed by incoming rescue requests...

We're facing an influx of requests due to the peak breeding season. Mums with their babies are constantly arriving, sick kittens or those in extremely poor health need urgent care.

Not to mention the added number of abandonments due to the holiday season, exacerbating an already critical situation! Veterinary bills are rising, and we need support to continue saving these little lives.
