Poor Veronique lives outside, even though she is old and ill!

1. She is finding it difficult to eat...

Veronique is a 12-year-old cat who struggles to eat. Over time, her dentition has seriously deteriorated and she can no longer chew.

Sometimes she bleeds from her gums! Unfortunately, an operation to remove her teeth would be too risky considering her age.

2. She is ill!

Veronique probably has cat flu as her eyes are very purulent. We clean them every day, as well as giving her an antibiotic and anti-inflammatory treatment to ease her oral pain.

3. She is living outdoors...

Poor Veronique lives outside, in an area very exposed to the wind. With the return of autumn and the humidity, her health is at risk of deteriorating significantly...

4. Canned food could enable her to continue regaining her strength

A moist food that is easy to swallow would be ideal for Veronique in her current state. Age-appropriate canned food would meet her daily nutritional needs. It would be an excellent way for her to regain her health!

5. The costs are astronomical!

Many of our charges are sick and need costly treatments. In total, 83 cats rely on us, resulting in hefty veterinary bills! We therefore no longer have the funds to buy specialised food, blankets and shelters for those who need them!
