Little Alfred has an eye that's been greatly damaged by cat flu!

1. He was found outdoors, even though he's sick!

Alfred is a month and a half old kitten who was found on the street, soaked by the rain. One of his eyes is heavily damaged due to cat flu. We started him on a treatment, but it didn't work.

We are now trying a new intensive treatment, with antibiotics and an ointment to be applied every two hours. Our hope is to save his eye.

2. To regain strength, he will need canned food

A diet for kittens would make it easier for Alfred to swallow his antibiotic tablets. It would also be a great source of vitamins and protein to support his growth. Fortified in this way, he could fight the virus more effectively.

3. Twenty additional cats have suddenly arrived!

We have rescued even more cats in distress. Following a seizure, nearly twenty new charges now rely on us in addition to the cats we were already taking care of! So many new mouths to feed at once means significant expenses that our budget can't absorb...
