1. He can no longer eat dry food...

Kraken is a 10-year-old cat who is carrier of FIV (Feline Immuno-deficiency Syndrome). He is more vulnerable to illnesses due to his weak immune system, and he has developed a severe case of calicivirus and has had to undergo a special treatment.

When we took him in, he was drooling heavily due to ulcers in his mouth and was unable to eat. We decided to extract most of his teeth in hopes of easing his discomfort...

2. Suitable canned food would help him regain his strength

A diet of wet canned food, suitable for senior cats, would be perfect for Kraken to eat without difficulties.

This type of food would not only help him stay hydrated, but it would also provide him with an opportunity to regain his strength and to get the necessary daily vitamins and minerals.

3. Unfortunately, abandons are sadly frequent...

We've recently had to take care of numerous unweaned kittens that require bottle-feeding. Adult cats have also been abandoned, leaving us with many new mouths to feed... This is a significant cost for our charity!
