Conjunctivitis, cat flu... poor Bijou is not doing well!

1. She's ill!

Bijou is a seven-year-old cat, suffering from a severe case of conjunctivitis and cat flu. As a result, her eyes are constantly watering and she spends her time sneezing. She has also lost a lot of weight due to the heatwaves this past summer...

2. She lives outdoors...

Bijou lives outside where there is no place for her to take shelter. As she is quite feral, she would not be able to cope with living in our facilities. But we can't leave her exposed to the elements in her current state...

3. Blankets would keep her warm this winter

With a bundle of blankets, Bijou wouldn't be forced to sleep on the wet and dirty ground. She could also more easily retain her body heat during the night, leading to more restorative sleep!

4. Our operations have been heavily impacted!

The end of 2025 proved to be particularly tough for our association, in all aspects. With a hundred toms under our care, we're struggling to get back on our feet!
