With many of his teeth missing, Bobby can't eat hay anymore!

1. He was headed for the slaughterhouse!

Bobby is a 28-year-old horse. His former owner wanted to get rid of him, even if it meant sending him to the slaughterhouse. So we took him in, to save his life.

2. His teeth don't allow him to chew anymore!

Unfortunately, Bobby is missing too many teeth. The poor guy can't chew hay properly anymore. He will need another food source soon!

3. With pellets, he could regain his strength

Pellets crushed to a pulp and moistened would give Bobby a boost of energy. Rich in vitamins, they'll give him the nutrients he needs to get through the summer with a peace of mind.

4. Care, pellets... everything is extremely expensive!

At the moment, it's really hard. Our volunteers are going on vacation, and the two of us are going to have to manage everything by ourselves. The vet recently had to come for 6 horses... Paying such bills out of our pension - not to mention the purchase of pellets - is becoming more and more unmanageable for us!
