1. She was left without care...

Luante is a 21 year old brood mare, who was abandoned in a meadow. She was left for so long without care that her hooves were in a bad state!

2. She could not walk anymore!

When we found her, Luante's hooves were so long that she couldn't move. At first, it was so hard for her that she refused to eat!

We had the farrier come and her hooves are in better condition. But she still has after-effects and has difficulty walking. It is for example very complicated to move her from one meadow to another.

3. Pellets would allow her to regain her strength before the winter

After all that she has been through, we don't want to give up on Luante! With vitamin-rich pellets, she can regain her strength. This would give her plenty of energy before the winter, a difficult time for horses.

4. Equines in need are counting on us!

The volunteers are few and our financial means are very limited. These facts considerably reduce our field of action! But the horses are counting on us: most of them are old and need care and supplementation.
