Affected by arthritis and a liver problem, poor Jasmine was going to be euthanized by her owner!

1. She developed a liver problem...

Jasmine is an 11 years old dog, who lived in a shelter in Serbia. A lady with no means managed 400 dogs there. Jasmine ate mainly soaked bread... This non-adapted diet led her to develop liver problems: her liver does not function properly anymore.

2. She has almost no teeth and can no longer eat kibble

When she arrived, Jasmine had very damaged teeth. She almost had to have them all removed. So she can't eat kibble anymore...

3. She has arthritis!

With age, Jasmine's joints become more and more inflamed. Osteoarthritis bothers her every day, especially when she moves!

4. Canned food would allow her to gain strength without difficulty

With adapted wet canned food, Jasmine could eat without chewing. It would be an opportunity for her to fill up on energy, so she could spend her old age serenely.

5. Caring for elderly animals is very expensive...

We take care of 107 dogs and 26 cats. Many of the animals we take in come from abroad, from the street or from private individuals. There are many requests, but we give priority to sick and elderly animals.

Most of them have suffered all their lives... so we want to bring them comfort and allow them to eat their fill. But all this has a cost: 50 000 euros of veterinary expenses last year alone!
