1. A disease causes him conjunctivitis!

Mickey is a cat of about 5 years old, affected by a chronic coryza. His eyes run, and are very inflamed. This virus and its symptoms make him very tired!

2. His gums hurt too much to chew...

Mickey also has chronic gingivitis. His gums are constantly sore because they are also inflamed. He is in so much pain that he can't chew his kibble anymore.

3. Canned food would allow him to gain strength without too much pain
