Jiva almost died because she couldn't stand up anymore!

1. Her heart was racing every time she was making an effort

Jiva is 29 years old. Double enucleated, she suffers from arthritis. The wet weather doesn't help and recently she almost had a major attack.

She could no longer stand up, she systematically fell down because of the pain, her heart was racing under all her efforts...

2. Pellets will allow her to eat

Jiva must regain her strength. She is exhausted from this crisis, and more are likely to come. Pellets will give her enough vitamins to help her get better. And will be much easier for her to eat considering her age...

3. Our stocks are down at their lowest

The situation is really difficult. Several of our volunteers have caught Covid, and we are under capacity. So it's even more complicated to take care of animals.

We are also coming to the end of our hay supply and we have taken more animals... They need help!
