Arthrosis, skin problems, long hooves... poor Black lacked care!

1. She has very bad skin problems...

Black is a 25-year-old pony, who was in danger of being euthanized or abandoned. So we took her in. Unfortunately, she has a very bad dermatitis: she scratches herself sometimes until she bleeds! It's so irritated that her hair falls out in patches...

2. She has trouble walking!

With time, Black has developed a lot of arthritis. Not to mention that her hooves are very long, due to lack of maintenance until now. All this makes it very difficult for her to move around!

3. With pellets, she could regain her strength

Quality food such as pellets would be precious for Black. It would be an opportunity for her to regain her energy, and maybe reduce her skin problems a bit.

4. We had a large unexpected rescue!

We had to do a big rescue of 12 horses not long ago. With the 40 or so equines (donkeys, horses, ponies) that we were already taking care of, it's starting to be a lot... it's becoming difficult to find the finances to care for and feed them all!
