Cushing’s disease, loss of teeth: Fidji needs suitable pellets!

1. She has Cushing's disease…

Fidji is a 30-year-old pony that we saved from the slaughterhouse. She suffers from Cushing's syndrome: her coat is disheveled and she has lost weight. We are doing everything possible to stabilize her.

2. She has no teeth left!

With age, Fidji's teeth have deteriorated. Today, she can no longer use them to chew.

3. Wet pellets would help her continue to regain her strength

Supplementation with pellets would be perfect to keep Fidji in shape. We would moisten them for her so that she has no difficulty swallowing and does not risk an esophageal blockage.

4. It's chaotic!

Last year's drought put us in financial difficulty. Recently, we had a very expensive rescue that required significant veterinary expenses.

Since our pellet stocks are dry, we are looking for solutions: sponsorship, grants, etc. While we wait for this to happen, we have had to stop new rescues, despite requests… Your help would be very valuable to us!
