1. Her kidneys and heart are not functioning normally…

Frimousse is a 10-year-old female dog who arrived with her puppies from the island of La Réunion. She has always lived on the streets there and did not have access to proper nutrition.

Today, she is very tired and suffering from a heart condition. She also has kidney failure, which we are trying to stabilize with treatment.

2. She narrowly escaped a pulmonary embolism!

Recently, Frimousse had water in her lungs! She almost had a pulmonary embolism, which could have cost her life…

3. Special canned food would help her regain strength

Designed to support kidney function, renal dog food would be the most appropriate for Frimousse. With such food, she would also be able to easily swallow her medication. It would be an opportunity for her to be in better overall health.

4. We had to resume taking in more animals…

We are in the midst of abandonment season, and all shelters are overwhelmed. Therefore, we have started taking in more animals again, as we cannot turn a blind eye to animal suffering… But the new dogs that arrived required extensive veterinary care. Our finances are therefore at an all-time low!
