Gastric issues, fever, liver disease: poor Angelo has Cushing's disease!

1. An endocrine disorder triggers endless symptoms...

Angelo is a 12 year-old dog, who was diagnosed with Cushing's syndrome within a matter of weeks. As his adrenal glands aren't working properly, he is prone to all kinds of health problems.

Despite bouts of diarrhoea and vomiting, Angelo has gained weight because his cortisol level is very high. He also suffers from pancreatitis, fever and liver dysfunction. He is currently on medication which should help regulate these issues.

2. Canned food would help him regain some weight

Easily digestible canned pâté could lessen the digestive problems that Angelo battles with.

Since these cans are formulated from quality ingredients, they would help regulate his weight. Such a nutrient source would be perfect to help him refuel and regain strength, while waiting for his health to improve thanks to his treatment.

3. The year comes to a close just as badly as it started…

As the year draws to a close, our problems are mounting: waves of cold weather, a lack of donations, ineffective food drives... Things have reached such a point that we don’t know if we can continue!

However, we must press on. We have taken in new animals from other associations that have had to close their doors. We cannot abandon the 97 dogs that need us!
