1. A virus is causing pain in her mouth...

Bagherra is an eight-year-old female catliving outdoors who has calicivirus. Her gums are very inflamed, so all her teeth had to be removed to alleviate her pain.

We also give her various treatments, but the disease comes and goes. She then starts losing weight and can't clean herself anymore...

2. Canned food would help her regain strength

Delicious and appealing, canned food would help Bagherra eat regularly. Its moist and soft texture would allow her to swallow it more easily as well as take her medications, despite her lack of teeth.

She could thus gradually regain strength, achieve a normal weight again while staying well hydrated. All this would fortify her and increase her chances of recovery.

3. Veterinary costs take up a large part of our budget...

Our association faces great challenges, especially during winter. Currently, many cats are sick and new toms are arriving due to abondonment.
