Having feline AIDS, Corso is unable to fight the calicivirus that is making his life a misery!

1. Mouth inflammation causes him to vomit...

Corso, a cat aged over 13 years, had to undergo a complete extraction of his teeth due to calicivirus. Nevertheless, the inside of his mouth remains extremely sensitive, to such an extent that he occasionally vomits.

Being a carrier of FIV (cat AIDS), his body cannot effectively fight the inflammation. Consequently, he is unable to eat dry food!

2. Canned food would allow him to eat without pain

A wet diet such as canned food would enable Corso to eat without experiencing mouth pain. Its balanced composition and easy digestibility would alleviate his vomiting, while adequately hydrating him. It would also ease the administration of his medication.

3. We have had enormous veterinary expenses this year!

The organisation is currently confronting substantial difficulties. This year, financial aid has drastically diminished, and we have received very few donations. Veterinary expenses have reached €6,000.

Many cats fell ill and needed teeth extractions. Settling all these bills and continuing to find the funds to feed cats that require a specific diet is beyond our means...
