Ivy is a 6-month-old kitten, found in the middle of nowhere. She had blood in her rear part and a deceased litter in her belly! We had to rush her to surgery...
When we found Ivy, her left front paw was necrotic, with a completely torn nerve... The vet had to amputate it, even though she was very weak (she only weighed 1.4 kg!).
A set of blankets would benefit Ivy by providing warmth and comfort. This would help maintain a stable body temperature, allowing her to recover and rest better.
Financially, we had just started to get back on our feet, but the first kittens are starting to arrive. We currently manage 138 animals, which involves numerous veterinary expenses. Between donations not picking up and the lack of subsidies, the situation is very complicated!
