Volvic is a two-and-a-half-year-old sheep that we rescued, along with his mother, just before they were due to be sent to the slaughterhouse. His mother lacked sufficient milk, so he was bottle-fed from birth.
Feeding pellets to Volvic would help him maintain his health by providing all the necessary nutrients he needs. This way, he could stay strong and resilient, despite the challenges and changes that come with different seasons.
We are currently caring for around 80 animals, due to the low number of adoptions. We have run out of both grass and pellets! All that we have left is hay, which isn't enough to meet all the nutritional needs of our animals, particularly the ones who are most vulnerable.
