Injured in a paw, poor Myrtille had to have an amputation!

1. He now only has three legs!

Myrtille is a feral cat of around four years old, who was seriously injured on a back leg. Consequently, we took him to the vet, who unfortunately had to amputate. Myrtille now only has three legs!

He is now recovering, while the wound heals. As he's feral, we will be forced to release him back to his original site once he's recovered...

2. He will have to live outdoors with his disability...

Myrtille was abandoned in a housing estate, on a feeding site where he has nowhere to take shelter. With his disability, life outside will be even harder... We are worried about him!

3. A shelter would enable him to sleep safely

To allow Myrtille to rest peacefully on his return to his territory, we will need a shelter. He could hide there, to be shielded from the rain, wind, and potential dangers, while he learns to cope with his disability.

4. We've never had so few resources!

Despite our financial resources being at an all time low, we are trying to remain focused. We have recently undertaken a significant number of new cases, which makes everything more challenging... The association's budget is in a permanent deficit!
