Infected with a calicivirus, poor Opium often has great difficulty eating...

1. Her mouth is regularly very inflamed...

Opium is a free cat, approximately 10 years old, who lives at a feeding site. Unfortunately, she has contracted a calicivirus: the inside of her mouth becomes inflamed, which hinders her from eating.

She may also have lost a few teeth, but as she's quite wild, we've not yet been able to take her to the vet for a check-up...

2. To regain her strength, she will need canned food

Wet food like canned pate would enable Opium to eat without pain. This type of nutrition, specifically tailored for ageing cats, would provide her with everything needed to recover her strength healthily.

3. We lack opportunities to collect food for the cats

All the slots for cart operations are already taken up by other associations... We must wait for months to get one! With three feeding sites to cater for, we can't handle the financing ourselves!
