Ataxia, missing teeth, inflamed gums: Amoureuse needs food suited to her health problems!

1. She has coordination problems!

Amoureuse is a cat of about 11 years, who has had ataxia since birth. As her movements are not coordinated, she limps and has trouble eating. She also falls occasionally as she has difficulty jumping...

2. She can no longer eat kibble...

Amoureuse has lost many teeth over time. She has also contracted gingivitis: her gums are inflamed and sometimes painful. We therefore give her medication in her food to soothe the inflammation.

3. Canned food would be easier for her to consume

Wet and tasty food would be less difficult for Amoureuse to eat than kibble. She could continue to maintain her energy levels and easily consume her tablets. Such a diet would greatly ease her life!

4. Our financial means are diminished...

We have always about forty tomcats to manage. Not having enough resources, we can no longer take on additional responsibilities.

Since Covid, we finance almost everything ourselves. But I just lost my job, which makes the future of our actions uncertain...
